yea but if you use the pencils specfically for art, or even a regular pencil you can have more volume in your shading which makes it look more realistic

When you make art there really isnt any rules you have to follow. I know ALOT of artists who use mechanical pencils when sketching. It’s nice because you dont have to worry about sharpening your pencil
